In the heart of the most beautiful French regions (the Côte d'Azur and the Basque Country), you will combine French lessons, sports activities, excursions and various cultural activities!
French lessons: 20 lessons / week
The aim is to enable you to improve oral and written communication, strengthen vocabulary and grammar points, develop your knowledge of French culture and civilization and express yourself with fluency and ease in different situations.
You will be divided into level groups of 8 maximum. The written and oral tests should be completed ahead of your arrival. However, if France Langue doesn’t receive your written test or doesn’t organize the oral test prior to your arrival, you will need to be tested on the first day.
Locations and schedules
In Nice: Classes will be held in the afternoon in the area of Mont-Leuze where the residence is located, Monday through Friday from 2.00pm to 5.15pm (15mn-break included).
In Biarritz: French lessons take place in the morning from Monday to Friday in the grounds of the Pignada estate, in the wooden bungalows of the residence.

The pedagogical goals
The teachers have developped an action-oriented approach with numerous activities created in line with the groups’ levels, favoring oral expression while setting the foundations for writing.
The various themes will encourage the practice of theory in situations adapted to foreign students. The teaching team will hold interactive and engaging lessons through fun educational activities, such as collective group work, pair work, and interaction with other level groups in and outside the classroom.

Focus on oral communication: teachers encourage students to interact as much as possible and actively use what they learn in class.

Multi-activities programme - 5 sessions / week
In Nice: sailing, paddle, canoe, orientation race…
- The programme changes every day and every week.
- Each activity is supervised by a qualified professional or a France Langue representative.
- Groups of 8.
- All material provided for the activities.
- A swim test is performed at the beginning of your stay.
In Biarritz: mini-golf, pelota, football, volleyball, ping-pong, tennis,…
- Various activities and managed by the activity leaders.
- Most of the activities take place in the residence.
- Staff members drive ypu and the other students from the residence to the activities by mini-bus.
- You will have a swim test at the beginning of the stay.
- Minimum 1 or 2 surf sessions per week
We offer social and cultural activities to enable you to practice French together with the other students before or after the activities: football games, beach volley contests, quizzes, photo contests, treasure hunts…
Excursions to discover the region are also part of the programme. Evenings are organized to encourage interaction: activities organized every evening (Board games, karaoke, picnic on the beach, outdoor movies, musical quizzes, inter house competitions, beach volleyball, bowling…).
FULL BOARD ACCOMMODATION
In Nice: Mont-Leuze domain
Villas: you will stay at the Club Mont Leuze, in a 13-hectare land planted with trees, between sea and mountains, 15 minutes away from Nice and Monaco, overlooking the whole coast and the Alps. Each villa has 4 double or triple rooms and 2 bathrooms, for a total of 8 students with a supervisor of the same gender in each villa.
The campus follows the legislation, there are 2 or 3 students per room and a maximum of 10 students per villa of a similar age but different nationality to encourage the sharing of interests and communication in French. The rooms are equipped with double or triple beds, storage space, a workspace, a lamp and a window providing natural light. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. These will be first used on the arrival of each student. The cleaning of the whole house will be done on Saturday, before arrival and on departure, students may be asked to participate in the cleaning of their bedroom.
Meals: all meals are taken at the Club Mont Leuze. Packed lunches are provided for excursions. Special diet requirements can be catered for if the school is informed at the time of booking.
In Biarritz: Pignada domain
The domain consists of 4 hectares of greenery, ideally located between the historical center of Bayonne and the Grande Plage of Biarritz.
The residence has 110 rooms, 2 restaurants and numerous sport equipments : mini golf, swimming pool, pelota wall, equipped gymnasium, soccer and rugby fields.
Comfortable and secured, the domain of Pignada is the perfect venue to welcome young people for their language holidays.
During their stay, the students will be accommodated in rooms of 3, 5 or 7 people.
The programme takes place in a 24-hour supervised camp. Transportation to and from activities and excursions will be led by our group leader.
Transfers are included from Airport or train station. A member of the France Langue team will pick you up upon your arrival and accompany you on your day of departure. Travel details must be confirmed 15 days before the arrival of the student at the latest (point of arrival, time, flight/train number).
In Nice and Biarritz, you need to arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning.
The supervision and the security
A group leader runs the activity programme and supervises the students. The supervision ratio is 1 to 8 for water activities and 1 to 12 for other activities and excursions.
The school also requires a signed health form for each student (with medical records and requirements). For insurance and security reasons, the curfew is set at 11pm on weekdays in Nice (10pm in Biarritz) and at 11.30pm on Saturday nights in Nice (10:30pm in Biarritz).
